Summer isn’t far off, and for those who like to camp year round, this ingenious application might prevent you from near heat stroke when the temperature starts rising.  This DIY Evaporative Cooler uses cooling pads, a waterpump , and a 12 V fan with the concept of evaporation to create a cooling effect. Surprisingly, the cooler can lower temperatures by 30 degrees, making for a much bearable climate. For around $50, all the parts can be purchased, making this a sure bet compared to more expensive options. For complete directions on how to build the Evaporative Cooler, check out this tutorial.
