Fold Flat Shelter Boosts Genius Design For Disaster Relief

Given the catastrophe we’ve seen in the past few years, it’s great to see a product like this that could spell relief for those affected by natural disasters. The Fold Flat Shelter was introduced in 2010 at the International Design Festival in Berlin. The shelter was reated by German Designer Adrian Lippmann using a variation in geometrical lines that would best serve for disaster relief. The unsupported mini house made of light composite panels is an adjustable structure which can be assembled and disassembled. The shelter is erected by first folding the walls and roof to attain the shape with substructures placed later to finish the simple construction.
